ANSWER TO Eric (below): That was Nina Gerber, the longtime accompanist of Kate Wolf (who wrote that song). Nina and Scott Nygaard each play on about half the songs on the Reason & Rhyme album, which I'm glad you love! Kathy recently got to play with Nina during a series of benefits for and tributes to Sarah Elizabeth Campbell, and digits are crossed that it'll happen again.

ANSWER TO Christa (below): What Do You Dream About? and, indeed, any of Kathy's CDs not currently available through CD Baby or County Sales or other outlets are available from us. Just write <[email protected]>. Thanks for your interest & support!

ANSWER TO Theresa (below): Kathy never recorded "My Florida Sunshine," but Claire Lynch did … on her 2010 Rounder album, "Whatcha Gonna Do." It's a Bill Monroe song from the 1970s.

ANSWER to Laurel (below): The Good Ol' Persons recorded my song, "Center Of the World," on "Part Of a Story." You can see all the lyrics and listen to it here. It's also part of Kathy's gospel collection, "Count Your Blessings," released in 2011. Thanks for your interest!

Big Thanks to everyone for all the kind words!

Looking forward to seeing you soon - KK

The Messenger...What familiar yet mysterious lyrics. I'm convinced one must know Him to organize words so simple, but so beautifully profound. Same with "In The Middle of My Town...and "A Warmer Kind of Blue". I wear these songs out on certain days...Thank you! I wish you would play some dates here in Ohio. But I recently made my 1st trip to Big Sur in June and could see why one would never want to leave the general vicinity of so much mysterious beauty. May God continue to bless you with health, words & music to play my friends..I will be listening.

Kathy, Was very excited to see that you & "the ol' gang" will be here in Grass Valley for a reunion!!! I am hoping to get a chance to see everyone. Not sure which performance I will be able to make, I would have to take time off work to see the Thursday daytime, but, I will work some time in! Don't think I can still fit in my Good Ol' Persons t-shirt...many years (& pounds) have passed since those days in San Francisco!

Who played the brilliant guitar on Trumpet Vine? One has to love Ryme and Reason.

My family enjoyed listening to "What do you dream about?" when my children were young. We would love to pass this music on but can't find it on for sale. Any help for us?

Thank you so much for performing in Great Falls last night! You were all so wonderful and we had a great time. A special thank you for the little private impromptu jam you guys did for my son Christian, my friend Don and I after the show. You are my new favorite Bluegrass band and I'm telling all my friends. You must come back soon!

Thanks for your great workshop at Wintergrass! Your respect and empathy for each other is a powerful lesson to the rest of us. The music was very inspiring.

Kathy Kallick, Thank you for your time, effort--and especially for your music--which you and your friends gave in the benefit concert for Sarah Elizabeth Campbell. Your graciousness and heart-felt words carried me back across the river to my small home in Murphys, with joy. You are appreciated. Sincerely, Jimmy K. Bigelow

I remember being at Grass Valley with my new born son and wife on father's day, about 30 years ago. You and the rest of the Good Ol' Persons performed Center of the World. I was wished Happy Father's day, maybe at end of this song. but we were all there then, at that place 29 or 30 years ago. Thanks, Pat

I have a 3 year old grandson and a daughter who has 2 on board (a double wide she calls herself) so of course we must Buy "what do you dream of at night" I have already ruined my grandson Sam's life by introducing him to the evil world of bluegrass and forcing him to ponder the question "why does Grumpa play a guitar with a hubcap in the middle of it. He loves your records and tolerates my Dobro playing. He thinks the title "use your napkin not your mom" is pretty funny. So we must have both these cd's let me know how.
